Book Share James and the Giant Peach

James and the Giant Peach
Written by Roald Dahl
This book is about a boy, James Henry Trotter who lives with his two aunts, Spiker and Sponge. His mom and dad were killed by a giant rhino. His aunts beat him and they would never let him play with children.
One day James finds some magical crystals from a wizard. He said they would change his life if he drinks them with water. When he was walking away he tripped and the crystals fell on the peach tree. When the crystals fell on the tree, the peach started to grow massively. His aunts are nosy and, find out about the peach and try to make money off of it. When the aunts tell James to pick up around the peach he takes a trip into the peach tunnel. He meets some anthropomorphic insects. There were seven of them, a silk worm, a glow worm, a spider, a lady bug, a grasshopper, a centipede, an earthworm. The centipede bit off the stem of the peach and rolled on the aunts and killed them. The peach rolled into the sea and it floated away.
They end up in New York. Everyone gets what they want. James has lots of friends and lives in the peach pit.
